ISO AUDIT PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS

Published by

on

We are pleased to confirm that recently we had a 3-day audit and have achieved re-certifications for all our ISO standards without any OFIs (Opportunities for Improvement) or NCs (Non-Conformances).

A quick summary of our ISO certifications as follows.

ISO 9001:2015

POYNTELL recognise the expectations of our customers in demanding a quality service, at the right price, on time, every time. To ensure this, we have implemented a Quality Management System based on both the needs of the company and the expectations of our customers.

The management system was assessed by a UKAS approved body and POYNTELL were awarded certification against the international Quality Management Standard ISO9001. A status that we continue to enjoy with the QMS providing the framework for improvement issues, the management of change and more importantly continued customer satisfaction.

ISO 14001:2015

POYNTELL regards effective environmental management and control to be of major importance to our business. To ensure effective management of its environmental impacts, and to ensure regular improvements in its environmental performance, we have developed an environmental management system (EMS) satisfying the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001.

This includes all activities and operations within the company, including those activities of contractors and suppliers, over which POYNTELL can exert significant influence.

ISO 45001:2018

ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable POYNTELL to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance.

The intended outcomes of an OH&S management system include:

  • Continual improvement of OH&S performance.
  • Fulfilment of legal requirements and other requirements.
  • Achievement of OH&S objectives.
