Speed Gate Customisation
When it comes to prestigious buildings that require high user throughput, few solutions are capable of managing significant traffic, whilst also aligning with architectural, or interior design objectives.
Whilst other access solutions (turnstiles for example) emphasise a robust barrier to entry, Speed Gates are designed from the ground up to be customisable. This aligns nicely with established design guidelines.
RAL
You can choose from over 150 different RAL colours. Any part of the Sped Gate that’s made of stainless steel can be painted one, or multiple colours.
Additional Finishes & Features
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition)
Whilst Speed Gates are always constructed of stainless steel, a PVD finish gives the impression that the units are constructed of other metals, such as bronze / gold / ‘black metal’.
This finish not only matches the colour and sheen of other metals, but it also simulates the ‘grain’ of the metal.
This becomes useful when the Speed Gates are required to match other aspects of the building, such as bronze ironmongery on other internal doors.
Handrail customisation
Often scaling the length of the unit, this handrail can be made of different materials.
In this instance, marble is utilised.
Glass Tints & Patterns
There are numerous options for tinting glass, along with applying various patterns.
When Speed Gates are Full height, graphics help people with impaired sight to see any obstacles in their way.
This also presents a great opportunity for branding. Any styles or shapes that reoccur throughout the building could also be incorporated into the pattern of the glass.
Flooring
Often Speed Gates are designed to be as transparent as possible. This enables maximum line of sight when a user enters the room.
To continue this theme, the cabling required to power the units and Access Control is routed under the floor.
This enables the existing floor to flow without disturbances.
